4 days more... a pensive night

So here i am at 1am.. doing a mask.
I really should get some sleep but well.. i'm feeling a tad hyped up :)
We got home pretty late cos we had our 2nd session with Pastor Johnny.
How did it went?
Great! and we have faith that it will all work out beautifully :)
so much to learn.. and a lifetime to look forward to.
And we are determine to enjoy our marriage..
not just surviving it.
We may stumble at times.. we may fall.
but more importantly...
we'd always have each other to depend on..
and yes, thru thick and thin..
til death do us part :)

so in 4 days time...
i'm getting really excited!

Zack is right now at Mark's.. smoking "impt shisha"
yeah yeah.. he's also up to something.
correction: THEY'RE up to something!
i'm enjoying the suspense.. haha.

So so.. what have we here?
These pics were taken last night. We had a Helpers Appreciation Dinner and it was a feast at Tao Kee! This is to thank everyone who will be helping us on our wedding day and also to run through the program with them. After dinner, we adjourned to Mark's...

Our usual gathering place: Marky's basement.

Des and Chris will be singing a duet during our ceremony: "I've Finally Found Someone".. Mark is doing percussions while Fu does guitars. This will happen after we've said our vows and about to light our unity candles *smile* Jeez.. this is like so pro! and soooo romantic *tears*

Chris and Des stretching their vocals

Mark doing percussions

Zack and Fu.. goofing ard.

QY was there too! but my trusty K800 couldnt capture everyone.

a short raw clip...

They are simply amazing. All we did was tell them we'd like a duet to be sung and all of them chipped in with ideas.. offered their incomprehensible (to me at least!) equipment and their help willingly. The tech talk that flies.. i couldnt keep track!

As zack and i were sitting on the couch listening to Des and Chris trying to reach the high notes, Mark doing percussions (akin to frying char kway teow :P) and Fu getting the cords right (and his poor aching fingers).. i couldnt help this surge of emotion well up inside me. Though Zack was sitting quietly next to me, i know he's feeling the same way. How our friends band together to make our day a memorable one. How they offered themselves.. their time unselfishly.. despite their work schedules. This is something we will always always hold dear to us.. when we needed help, the friends who were there for us.. unconditionally. We are touched.. beyond words. And from the bottom of our hearts.. Thank You! You guys are awesome! *HUGS*
